A five (5) member external audit committee was sworn into office on Wednesday 10th of November 2021, at the Adentan Municipal Assembly.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Alexander Nii-Noi Adumuh congratulated them on their new positions and urged them to do their possible best to assist the internal audit committee to put the assembly on higher pedestal.
Madam Miriam Deladem Ofosu Denkye, a representative of the director general of Internal Audit Agency(IAA) introduced the newly sworn in members into office. After leading them in taking an oath of office, she mentioned that, as part of their mandate is to advise and support the internal audit committee of the Assembly.
Mr. Samuel Gyekye Mensah was elected as the new chairman of the committee. In his address, he accepted the position and acknowledged the great achievements of the previous committee. He further pledged to work with his team to achieve greater results.
