The Presiding Member of the Adentan Municipal Assembly, Mr. Joseph odai Boye has reminded traditional leaders of the importance of observing all COVID 19 protocols while celebrating this year’s Homowo festival.
He said this when he presented some food items on behalf of the MCE to the traditional leaders in the Adentan Municipality towards th celebration of Homowo.
Items presented included; 50 bags of Maize and 50 gallons of palm oil to be distributed amongst the various traditional councils in the municipality.
The Presiding Member assisted by Municipal Cordinating Mrs Jemima Tsina Apedo to do the presentation also appealed to the leaders to settle all forms disputes concerning chieftancy.
Mr Emmanuel Ashie Nii Quaye on behalf of the chiefs thanked and applauded the Assembly for their contribution and good work done towards the celebration of their festival. He further assured that celebration will be done peacefully observing all protocols.
