The Adentan Municipal Assembly (AdMA) has achieved 111.0% of its internally generated fund targets for year 2020 in spite of the challenges posed by Covid 19
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Adentan Municipal Assembly, Mr. D.A Nii Noi Adumuah who revealed this at the assembly’s just ended 1st ordinary meeting held in adentan, pointed out that the assembly’s total revenue for year 2020 stood at GHS 35, 716, 166.39 as against an actual receipt of GHS 20, 473, 742.50 representing 57.42%.
He said: “The highest fiscal performance came from permits and development control activities which gave us almost 64% of total revenue collected.”
For the year 2021, the MCE said the assembly had projected to collect GHS 10,663137.29 in terms of internally generated funds, adding that: “As at the end of the first quarter we have collected GHS 2, 759, 911.38 representing 25.88% of budget figure.
He said that four revenue clinics would be held comprising a team of 5- 8 persons who would operate in each electoral area of the adentan constituency.
“We are also working hard to ensure that all bills are served. All activities and strategies in the Revenue Improvement Action Plan (RIAP) would also be implemented to ensure we achieve our target for the year 2021,” said Mr. Daniel Alexander Nii Noi Adumuah, MCE of AdMA.
Mr. Nii Noi Adumuah said, the Adentan Municipal Assembly had intended to buy a bigger truck to help in the development control activities in the municipality.
He encouraged the various departments of AdMA to work harder to exceed their IGF targets achievement of 2020.
