A significant moment unfolded at the Adenta Station on Monday 31st August,2026 as libation was poured to invoke blessings, guidance, and prosperity for the 24-Hour Economy initiative.
In attendance was the Municipal Chief Executive Hon.Ella Christian Nongo,Presiding Member Hon.Mahamud Ya-Adzagey,Heads of Department, Hon.Assembly Members amongst others.
The libation was poured by Nii Wulormo Akwatea with the Adenta Chief Nii Adjei Dorblo II present to witness and lend his support to this important occasion.
The traditional ceremony marks an important step toward the realization of a modern market that is expected to boost local businesses, create jobs, improve trading opportunities, and support economic activity within Adenta and it’s surrounding communities.
The Chief and his retinue expressed their commitment to supporting the project and ensuring that the development benefits the people and contributes to the growth of the area.
A new chapter in Adenta’s commercial development begins.
