The Adentan Municipal Assembly has distributed 3,641 desks to 35 public schools across the municipality to support effective teaching and learning.

The presentation was led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Ella Esinam Christine Nongo , alongside the Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, and the Adentan Municipal Director of Education, Madam Gifty Mussey who all joined the exercise to support quality education in the municipality.

Speaking at the presentation, the MCE said the distribution aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda, which seeks to rebuild and transform the country through improved public services and social development, including creating better learning conditions for pupils across Ghana. She encouraged the beneficiary schools to take good care of the furniture.

The Member of Parliament also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that improve education and the welfare of schoolchildren in the constituency.

The Municipal Director of Education expressed appreciation to the Assembly and the Member of Parliament for the support, noting that the desks would help improve classroom conditions and enhance effective teaching and learning in the beneficiary schools.

The Adentan Municipal Assembly remains committed to working with stakeholders to improve educational facilities and create a better learning environment for every child in the municipality.
