The Centre for National Culture, Adentan in collaboration with the Adentan Municipal Assembly hosted a two days workshop for thirty seven (37) selected youth. Participants were selected from the Adentan Municipality to gain insight into fabric beading from Thursday 18th to Friday 19th June 2026 at the Gentaana Zonal Council. This training gave participant an opportunity to learn new skills in the ancient art of beading passed to down from generation to generation in the quest to promote our culture and heritage.

As part of her opening remarks, Mad Patricia O. Agyeman said that “Fabric beading is more than just sewing ornaments into cloth. It is an art form that breaths life, texture and story into textile”. She further noted that, beading has come to stay, and developing the skill has very high prospects of income generation.
