In a profound gesture of kindness and unity, the TUDEC Development Centre, a non-governmental organization operating in the Adentan Municipality, has extended support to disabled and vulnerable individuals during the holy Ramadan season. The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Adentan Municipal Assembly through its Social Welfare Department, provided food relief to 50 individuals in need.
The donated items included essential foodstuffs such as vegetable oil, sardines, salt, tomato paste, black tea, and sugar—items aimed at bringing relief and joy to the beneficiaries during this significant period of spiritual reflection and community.
The President of TUDEC Development Centre, Mr. Cafer Telepeli, personally led the presentation along with the Assembly’s representative, Mr. Abdul Fataw Rahman. The duo, symbolizing the strong partnership between the NGO and the Assembly, emphasized the importance of coming together to support society’s most vulnerable, particularly in times of need.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Telepeli highlighted the Centre’s commitment to uplifting disadvantaged groups, stating, “Ramadan is a time of sharing and caring. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that no one is left behind.”
The Social Welfare Department expressed its gratitude to TUDEC Development Centre for its impactful contribution, underscoring the significance of such collaborative efforts in creating an inclusive and supportive community.
This initiative serves as a shining example of how partnerships between NGOs and local authorities can positively impact the lives of those in need, fostering unity and hope in the Adentan Municipality.
