The Adentan Municipal Assembly (AdMA) held its Third Ordinary General Assembly meeting on Wednesday, 30th October 2024 to discuss reports from Executive Committee and Zonal Councils. Discussion of PRCC Report. Reports by the District Manager of the Ghana Water Company Limited-GWCL and Electricity Company of Ghana- ECG Adentan were among the issues discussed.  The meeting’s objectives were threefold: to address key matters, review progress and set the stage for the year ahead.

The meeting was presided over by the Presiding Member, Hon. Mahamud Ya-Adzagey and attended by key stakeholders, including Hon. Assembly Members, Head of Departments and Units, Zonal Council Directors, Media Representative and other staff of the Assembly

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ebenezer Doku, in his address, highlighted certain programs and activities undertaken during the period under review. He also announced that the Assembly would work on the bridge at accountancy and also Urban roads engineer has submitted list of roads that require rumble strips and that it was being considered for further necessary action.

A significant focus of the meeting was the presentation and consideration of the 2024 Revised Composite Budget. Members scrutinized the financial plan, ensuring alignment with the Assembly’s objectives and effective allocation of resources.

The 2024 Revised Annual Action Plan was also presented, outlining strategic priorities and goals for the remaining quarters of the year. Members provided feedback and input, shaping the plan to meet the Assembly’s aspirations and the needs of the people they represented.

In culmination, the 2024 Revised Composite Budget as well as the 2024 Revised Annual Action Plan were approved by the Assembly.

Zonal Council reports were also presented, showcasing Zonal Council progress and initiatives. Recommendations were also made as members engaged in a productive discussion, sharing best practices and identifying areas for collaboration.
