In a bid to keep up with the ever-changing world, Chairman of the 39th Farmers’ Day celebration of the Adentan Municipal Assembly, Rev. Nathaniel Nii Adjetey Lomoh, emphasized the importance of transitioning from working hard to working smart.

According to Rev. Lomoh, the advent of new technological and its related devices calls for a shift in mindset and approach,

Rev. Lomoh said this during his acceptance speech as the chairman for the event held at Amanfro on Friday, December 1, 2023. He highlighted the relevance of this year’s theme, ‘Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience. He noted with the abundance of technological resources available to us today, farmers no longer need to toil as intensely as in the past but just have to leverage of these technologies to produce more.

Rev. Lomoh urged farmers to tap into smart farming methods, leveraging the power of new technologies to enhance productivity and yield. The 39th Farmers’ Day celebration, organized by the Adentan Municipal assembly, took place on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Amanfro in the Koose electoral area of the assembly.

National Farmers’ Day in Ghana is celebrated annually on the first Fridays of December to recognizes and appreciates the commendable efforts of the hardworking farmers, who play a crucial role in the economy by ensuring a constant food supply.
