Sixty students from various tertiary institutions in Ghana have completed a two-month internship programme with the Adentan Municipal Assembly.
The students hail from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Coast, University of Professional Studies, Takoradi Technical University and the University for Development Studies Accra. They were assigned to various units and departments in the Municipal with 41 students helping the Social Welfare Department with its fieldwork and case management.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Alexander Nii Noi Adumuah, thanked the students for choosing to intern with the Adentan Municipal Assembly and said the programme had provided them with valuable communication skills and life experience. He hopes the next batch of interns will be doing it here in the Assembly, within our Municipality.
