The Fafraha Community Senior High School (FACOSH) in the Adentan Municipality, on Wednesday the 27th day of July 2022, inaugurated new board members to steer the affair of the school for the next four years (4).

The new board which is made up of eleven (11) members is led by Commissioner of Police retired, Kwesi Nkansah, a former chairman of the board. Members in board are, Ms. Monica Ankrah the Greater Accra Regional Education Director, Mr. Samuel Manteaw the Director General representative and Ms. Gifty Mussey, the Adentan Municipal Education Director. The rest are two (2) historical representatives in persons of Mr.Philip Nukuter Justice Amanor and Mrs. Regina N.A Kordia, also two(2) Assembly representatives who are, Hon. Ella Esinam Christine Nongo and Hon. Vivian Bosompem were part of the members. Others are, the Parent Teachers Association (P.T. A) representative, Ms. Christine A. Quartey, an old students’ representative Mr. Joseph Jectey Asare, the head master of the school, Mr. Edward Fayah, a teaching staff Mr. Prosper Yao Agbeko and a non-teaching staff Mrs. Perpetual D. Odonkor an Accountant with the school.

The new board members were sworn into office by a high court judge Justice Fred Kwesi Awuah and led them to take oath of office and secrecy which will guide them protect their integrity and confidentiality.

The Greater Accra Regional Education Director, Madam Monica Ankra admonished students to be disciplined, learn hard to take advantage of the free education system, and uphold their integrity. She warned students not to cause havoc in the school and also not to destroy properties of a sister school during an inter-school sports competition since they will be embarking on one this academic year.

The Municipal Chief Executives of the Adentan Municipal Assembly, Hon. Daniel Alexander Nii-Noi Adumuah who chaired the occasion, thanked the authorities and all stakeholders for making the programme successful. He urged the new board to employ their expertise, knowledge and experience to put Fafraha Community Senior High (FACOSH) to a higher pedestal. He also stated that, all board members are representatives of stakeholders involved and as such, they should communicate issues raised by the stakeholder in relation to FACOSH, to the board for appropriate actions to be taken to address such issues.
