The 60+ Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, AdMA organized a Father’s Day Treat on Sunday 19th of June 2022 at the forecourt of the Adentan Municipal Assembly. The event was targeted at celebrating and commemorating father’s, to enhance networking and socialization among the less privileged fathers within the Municipality. Mr. Felix Osom, the president of 60+ Foundation acknowledged participants for gracing the occasion and urged them to take part in all activities as well as socializing.
Speaking at the event, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Alexander Nii-Noi Adumuah thanked the foundation for their kind gesture.
He informed beneficiaries of the various health centers within the Municipality and advised them to walk in frequently for a health check.
Dr. Hope Deseue from the Greater Accra Reginal; Hospital (Ridge) took interested beneficiaries through a medical screening and counseling process, and gave them medical advice on how to live a healthy life.
The Father’s Day treat saw couple of attraction such as health screening, eye screening, barbering and grooming as well as manicure and pedicure all fathers present.
