The four Zonal Councils of the Adentan Municipal Assembly have elected new chairpersons to steer affairs of the councils for the next four years. The zonal councils which are at the base of the structure of the Assembly are established to ensure participatory governance. Some members from the unit committees were also elected to reconstitute the councils.
The Presiding Member of the Assembly, Mr. Joseph Odai Boye who presided over the elections advised members of the council to come together to work in unity to ensure that development gets to all electoral areas.
Congratulating newly elected Chairpersons, he further stated that the office they are occupying is a high one and therefore advised them to discharge their duties devoid of partisan politics for the common good of the people. The following are a list of chair persons for the various zonal councils:
Mr. Emmanuel Yedu Sackey – Gbentanaa Zonal Council
Mr. Albert Offei Agyeman – Suturunaa Zonal Council
Mr. Chris Courtyard Fiawornu – Nii Ashalle Zonal Council
Mrs. Gloria Adjetey Lomoh – Koose Zonal Council
