The Adentan Municipal Assembly’s newly formed Spatial Planning Committee convened its maiden session in the AdMA conference hall under the chairmanship of Hon. Ella Esinam Nongo, Municipal Chief Executive.
Members, including the chairs of Works, Development, Environment & Sanitation, Finance & Administration, one government appointee, the Municipal Fire Officer and representatives of the general assembly, unanimously approved the Technical Sub-Committee’s building applications and reviewed proposed road and infrastructure projects.
The committee adopted a comprehensive spatial-settlement framework, endorsed a geospatial assessment of high-risk zones and pledged strict enforcement of permit regulations and by-laws to eliminate illegal constructions and waterways encroachments.
