Adentan, May 5, 2025 – In a landmark move for the municipality, Hon. Ella Christine Esinam Nongo has been officially confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Adentan Municipal Assembly. The Special General Assembly Meeting, attended by key leaders and stakeholders, heralded a new chapter in local governance marked by promises of transparency, sustainable development, and inclusive community engagement.
During her acceptance speech, Hon. Nongo expressed profound gratitude to the President of the Republic, acknowledging the trust placed in her leadership. The quotation from Romans 12:10—“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other”—and Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195—“Spend the cause of Allah and do not contribute to your destruction with your own hands, but do good, for Allah loves those who do good”—served to remind attendees of the moral imperatives of respect, charity, and collective well-being in governance.
