This groundbreaking project, in collaboration with the Municipal Welfare Department, focuses on enhancing the quality of life for beneficiaries by providing targeted support in education, vocational training, healthcare services, and disability rights advocacy.

The program caters to women and girls with various disabilities, including hearing and visual impairments, mobility challenges, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. He further encouraged parents to ensure their wards maximize the opportunities provided, adding that his office will actively monitor the tailoring and bead-making groups to ensure productivity and sustainability.

Madam Diana Dery, Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Directorate, expressed her appreciation for the initiative, recognizing its significant impact in protecting and uplifting vulnerable groups. She called for continued support and collaboration to expand such programs and create more opportunities for persons with disabilities.
